Let’s review the new ZoomX SuperRep Surge for Women from Nike.
Nike ZoomX SuperRep Surge is an indoor training shoe that you can also take outside for a run. This pretty decent shoe can keep you company from the treadmill to the rowing machine to bodyweight training because of its versatility. Now you can burst through high-energy sessions and exercises with the new Women’s Nike SuperRep Surge training shoes.
Here’s some of the styles we are going to look at:
ZoomX SuperRep Surge for Women – Overview
ZoomX SuperRep Surge can be used for more exercises other than HIIT as it is also ideal for rowing machines, and treadmill runs. Nike ZoomX foam (Nike’s most sophisticated foam) provides you with the greatest possible energy return of any Nike foam to maintain the bounce in your step, whether your speed is set to an easy jog or all-out sprint. It comes in minimal colors of black and white.
A rower clip is installed on the heel part of the midsole to help make the turn to and from a rowing machine more manageable. It fits nicely in Concept2 Model D rower. The mesh across the foot is strengthened to hold up against foot straps. The tough mesh upper is lightweight, comfortable, and gives sufficient ventilation, so your feet don’t feel cramped.
The rubber tread (plenty of them) on the outsole gives you amazing traction on the floor or the machines to avoid slippage. It also has an arc containment system that grants lateral support and endurance and has a heel-to-toe drop of 10 mm which is good for running. It fits well, runs true to size, and weighs 12.2 oz. It is also meant for bodyweight style workouts like the Iwo Jima of GORUCK which consists of two rounds of 19 Sandbag Clean, 300m Ruck, 45 Burpee Step-Ups, and 300m Ruck.
ZoomX SuperRep Surge for Women Review – In Summary
That’s our review of the ZoomX SuperRep Surge for Women from Nike.
The ZoomX SuperRep Surge is perfect for workouts inside your house, studio, or gym, especially during this pandemic. It provides versatility, comfort, great traction, and efficient performance not only for HIIT but also for treadmill runs and rowing machines. Running with this shoe is also good because of the cushion although I prefer the firmer foam of the React shoe better. This is not meant for barbell lifting though.
