Let’s review Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38.
The Pegasus was first introduced by Nike in 1983 and has become the best-selling running shoe ever since. It was created to be half air (similar to the Greek winged half-horse it was named after) to symbolize movement, quickness, and the allure of flying. Nike revealed the newest iteration – the Pegasus 38, which will be available globally on the 29th of April.
Here are some of the styles we are going to look at:
Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 – Overview
The Pegasus has established its name in the running society, and elite runners and countless everyday runners worldwide have been using the shoe for their training. For 38 years now, the shoe has undergone significant technology changes to support the training journey of every runner.
The shoe was originally called the Air Wedge Trainer because it was the first shoe to highlight an Air Wedge that enhances shock absorption by 12 percent over an EVA wedge. The Nike React foam was first introduced to Pegasus last year, a technology that has better cushioning, better energy return, lightweight, and long-lasting.
Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 Limited Edition
With its limited edition, you’ll surely put a spring in your every step with the new Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38. It comes in multiple colors of Dark Smoke Grey/White/Flash Crimson/Volt to celebrate the diverse spectrum and history of the Pegasus. The Pegasus legacy continues with this version carrying the same responsive foam as its predecessor. Check out Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 (Women’s) for a more detailed description of this shoe.
Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 (Women’s)
If you enjoyed running with the Pegasus 37, you’d love the 38 even more. Concerns from last year’s version (like the heel slippage and shallow toe box) were addressed in this new version. Probably the most distinct transformation that happened to Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 is its more spacious toe box, a more luxurious mesh material all around, and its massively padded tongue. The breathable mesh in the upper blends the comfort and stability you want with a broader fit at the toes.
It uses Nike React foam, providing you a light, springy, and durable experience every step. It also has added and better cushioning minus the extra bulk. The Zoom Air unit at the forefoot was specifically designed to adapt to the female feet to bring a lighter feel and more bounce with every step – it is closer to your foot for responsiveness. When you lace up, the midfoot webbing compresses around your foot so you can choose your preferred fit and feel.
Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 Flyease
The same responsive foam as its predecessor is being used in the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 Flyease, putting bounce in your steps. The upper mesh has the comfort and durability you want on a FlyEase entry system to get you in swiftly and smoothly. This is coupled with a zippered entry making it easy to quick to get on and off.
You can adjust the fit using only one hand with its no-tie lacing feature. The midfoot webbing protects your foot when you tighten the laces for a snug fit and feel, while the foam tongue helps decrease pressure on the top of your foot.
