The HOVR Mega 2 Clone highlights an augmented rim and core structure that grants improved cushioning and energy return features. The rim grants structure and provides a smooth transition. The blown rubber frames the forefoot outsole to augment the cushion with minimum weight. The carbon rubber in the heel of the outsole offers durability in high-impact landing zones, and the displayed foam on the outsole guarantees a satisfactory heel-to-toe transition. An external heel counter locks in the heel and escorts your foot into its most efficient foot strike, adding to the smooth and plush feeling the HOVR Mega 2 Clone running shoes offer.
The HOVR Mega 2 Clone is created for a zero-gravity feel and excellent energy return and highlights a HOVR midsole and wide heel and forefoot gauges for a more luxurious feel. The exposed UA HOVR foam outsole through the midfoot and forefoot pressure zones provides a smooth transition from landing to toe-off and renders a soft and pillowy yet active ride. It highlights a padded heel collar that protects the Achilles from soreness. The padded tongue, thick sock liner, and an upper were formed primarily to meet the runner’s anatomical need.
When stretched, the woven structure of the UA Clone upper gets more robust and becomes thicker perpendicular to the applied force. No matter the size, this internal layer of flexible, auxetic material shapes around the foot for an exact, glove-like fit that truly customizes every foot. A 3D molded sock liner made of 6mm of open-cell PU foam hugs the foot with intensified step-in comfort support the HOVR Mega 2 Clone to flawlessly adjust to the runner’s foot – not vice versa. The cozy but dynamic HOVR Mega 2 Clone running shoes are excellent for long runs and high mileage training.
